Abstract Submission
You are welcome to submit abstracts to this international conference, within the different topics given here. The submission of abstract for oral and poster lectures at the SOFT 2012 conference is now open until 15th April, final deadline for abstract submission. Please follow the instructions below, and the on-line instructions along the submission system (link below).
One abstract only per presenting author is accepted. The presenting author must register to the conference once the contribution has been accepted. The presenting author (except PhD students) is kindly asked to review two papers in his own topic or in a topic proposed by him. The presenting author is invited to propose two reviewers for his contribution.
The book of abstracts will be available as PDF-file on the web page only; a paper version will not be distributed.

Poster Printing

Posters can be printed on site to avoid carrying issues, provided the authors send their content at least 2 weeks in advance and notify it in their registration form.
Price: 40 € (incl. VAT). A high resolution PDF file must be sent by 14 September. After that date, an additional 20 € charge will be applied and will have to be paid on site.

Uploading (after the conference)
The transparencies of the presentations as well as poster contributions presented at the conference are offered to be available for all conference participants. The files will be accessible after the conference from a password protected web-site only.
With uploading your file you agree with the storage of your files and their access by conference participants. Supported document types are .ppt, .pptx, .pdf. The maximum allowed total file size is 100 MB.

Paper Submission and Proceedings
Authors of accepted contributed abstracts (oral and poster) who have presented their contribution at the conference are offered to submit a paper for publication in a Special Issue of Fusion Engineering and Design edited by Dr. O. Neubauer (Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany), and co-edited by Dr. Ph. Mertens (Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany) and A.G.A Verhoeven (FOM DIFFER, The Netherlands).
The maximum length of papers is three to four journal pages for poster and oral contributions, and six journal pages for invited contributions. Manuscripts of full-length papers must be submitted by 14th September 2012 at the latest to allow for peer review processing. The full manuscript of invited contributions is due on the first day of the conference,i.e. 24th September 2012. Practical guidelines for the electronic manuscripts can be found on the web site of Fusion Engineering and Design. Common word processors are accepted in native format, including LaTeX.
One copy of the SOFT proceedings will be mailed to each participant in 2013 without further charge.
